#DemystifyingPublishing: Start writing your story/ideas now, not when you get all the resources to produce the book.
God designed a principle which dictates that provision comes following the vision, not the other way round. He desires that we walk in faith and not by sight. That's why he will never show you the whole journey ahead of you; he will show you just where you put your next food. It's like when driving at night; you don't see even 100 metres away, but you keep moving as long as you can see about 10 metres ahead.
You don't have to wait for money to be able to write a book because you do not need money to write; that you can do with your hands and your mind. Start with that and cross the bridge of capital when you get there. Surprisingly, once you've taken action and started on your dream, resources always come.
When I was writing my book TOUCHING HEAVEN RAZING HELL, all my sources of income somehow got blocked and by the time I finished it I didn't have even 100,000 shillings and yet I needed about 3 million shillings plus to produce copies. In faith I set the launch date and asked my mentor Bitature to be the guest of honor (I didn't tell him that the book is not yet printed). You know what? About one month to the launch date, someone called me from Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (I had never even heard of it till then) and he gave me work for 3 days and he paid me 3/4 of what I needed to print the book. It got printed and I paid the balance after selling some copies.
Provision follows your vision. If you wait for provision before you can start working on your vision, it will never happen.
